For mountain bike enthusiasts Gréoux-les-Bains has been given the stamp “Cité VTT (Mountain bike city) by the Fédération Française de Cylisme (French Federation of Cycling). Mountain bikers of all levels can take advantage of the 460 kms of paths and 17 trails from 3 to 60 kms. In partnership with the Tourist Office and a mountain bike hire company, we are able to provide you with a bike for your immediate use to explore the typical landscapes of Haute-Provence, the Haut Var and the lower gorges of the Verdon.
For biking enthusiasts : The new cyclosport centre at Gréoux is open all year round and has 14 circuits for all abilities. As well as a very favourable climate and small roads with little traffic, on your rides you will also find magnificent landscapes and mythical places.
In the 30 hectares of shady gardens at the Domaine, this week will be organised around 5 half days of play and tournaments and a grand finale. Each party will start by drawing lots from a rotating drum to make up teams. There are many prizes to be won and for the winner an all-inclusive holiday at the hotel-club Plein Sud at Hyères.
Walks :
Get out and about and discover this magnificent region. Three 2-3 hour walks per week are organised by the hotel-club: the plateau de Valensole with its colourful fields, Gréoux and its castle, the botanical pathway at Esparron and its surprisingly rich flora, the quiet banks of the Verdon ...
NEW : a botanical walk* of 1h 30mins in the gardens of the Domaine looking at ancient and unusual species of trees, accompanied by a professional herbalist, followed by an introductory workshop at the herbalist’s.
The best of the excursions*:
