Exploring the region

Of course, on a visit to the Vendée you must see the famous Sables d’Olonne but the region also abounds in other interesting sites.  A visit to the Logis de la Chabotterie de Saint Sulpice and its gardens allows you to retrace the remarkable history of General Charrette and the Vendée war; and a tour of the Château de la Guignardière dating from the eighteenth century will plunge you into the history of the Renaissance.

Port-Bourgenay also has riding stables, a boat hire and boat trip service and a mini-golf.
Port Bourgenay has two golf courses less than 500m from the hotel, as well as other courses at la Domangère and Les Fontenelles.

Guests at the Jardins de l’Atlantique, who benefit from a discount of 10% at the golf courses at Port Bourgenay, can also hire golfing equipment and book private lessons there.
