Spring, summer autumn and winter you can have unforgettable holidays at 800 m altitude in our superb residential complex of holiday apartments at Serre du Villard in Chorges close to Embrun. You can ski in winter, hike in all seasons, leisure and sports activities in the residence – it's up to you to choose the style of holidays that suits you best in the Southern Alps!

Serre du Villard is situated near the town of Embrun and the lake at Serre Ponçon and welcomes you with two possible accommodation formulas :

• weekend holidays in the hotel club to enjoy the Southern Alps in total tranquillity
• holiday rentals to enjoy an independent holiday in a well-equipped apartment.

The hotel club and residential complex at Serre du Villard – Serre Ponçon Lake :

The Serre du Villard hotel club in Chorges is close to Embrun, the Ecrins and Queyras National Parks and the lake at Serre Ponçon and enjoys a wonderful panorama over the Southern Alps. The complex has many facilities, with a fitness area (swimming pool, solarium, gymnasium..), a restaurant and bar which open out onto a terrace, many sports pitches, everything you need to have a great time in the heart of the countryside. In the apartment complex you will be able to relax in the lounges, the library, by the fireplace, in the cinema and the billiards room.

It's really up to you - you can choose between spending your holiday:

Either at the club hotel near Embrun :
here you can enjoy a weekend or a longer stay at the club hotel in one of our 91 comfortable rooms. The rooms are suitable for 1 to 3 people and have television, a terrace or balcony (except for triple bedrooms).

Or in the apartment complex at Serre du Villard near Embrun :
Serre du Villard has 15 apartments fitted out for holiday rentals. The apartments can accommodate up to 5/6 people, and have a surface area of 45 m². They have been entirely renovated and are very comfortable and are configured as follows : 

• two shower rooms,
• a terrace or a balcony with garden furniture,
• a fully equipped kitchenette with refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, 4 electric hobs, an oven and cutlery and crockery,

For the spring school holidays at Serre du Villard, from the 07/04 to the 05/05/12 and the summer :

All inclusive club hotel formula for worry free holidays next to the Serre Ponçon lake !
 

The formula includes entertainment and activities (gymnastics, aqua gym Do-in, rambling, sports tournaments) + evening entertainment + themes: the magical world of the circus (in the spring) + children's clubs for 3-year-olds to 17-year-olds + full board and lodging + coffee + supper for the children + open bar from 11 AM until 11 PM (draught ales, sodas, fruit cordials, tea and coffee, hot chocolate) and unlimited ice creams + daily cleaning of your room.

(The all-inclusive formula does not apply to holiday rental apartments).

When on holidays, mealtimes are always a moment of great pleasure... we believe that if you can combine great food with well-being, it's better still! This summer, look for the special sign "pleasure and fitness" on our buffets and enjoy our healthy and tasty choice of menus.
We are particularly keen on using seasonal fruits and vegetables, a wide variety of produce and recipes, not forgetting the specialities of the region.
Follow the signs, they will guide you in choosing your dish. It's all about your taste!

The chef invites you to taste family and traditional cooking which caters for the needs of adults and children alike

• starter buffet at lunchtime
• wine included

• themed restaurant "la Montagnette": reblochonnade, raclette, tartiflette and pierrade (specialities at extra charge)
• in summer: enjoy your meals on the terrace or in the form of a picnic or mountain grill or on the banks of the lake of Serre Ponçon 

The hotel at the Serre Ponçon lake is an "Art Included" establishment 

Here at Serre du Villard you will discover the paintings of landscapes, animals or abstract compositions belonging to the extremely original work of the artist Jean-Marc Haroutiounian, painter but also a musician !
For this unusual artist, art is above all about the relationship between beings. Whether he is painting or playing his bass guitar, the most important thing for him is to share and to communicate with others; and if he has chosen today to give up painting to devote himself to music and theatre (notably beside Florent Pagny, Michel Sardou or Celine Dion) it is still with the same boundless energy and idealism…all of his work has been a part of the Vacances Bleues collection since the years 1980/90 and it has now been brought together at Serre du Villard.
