Every week the Information Kiosk runs excursions so you can discover the many different landscapes that abound in the Côte d’Amour between land and sea: Guérande, Pornichet, Le Croisic, l’Erdre Nantaise, the salt marshes of La Brière, the Golfe du Morbihan … (Half day excursions – around 30€ per person per excursion)

Recommended as a way of recovering from periods of stress or fatigue, thalassotherapy will help you get back on form. We would recommend two institutes, the thalassotherapy centre at Thalgo La Baule and the Relais Thalasso La Baule, both of which have cures which can be individually adapted to your particular needs (for further details please see the section “Themed Stays”).

Golf : a 10% discount is granted on the 18 hole Golf International Lucien Barrière golf course (20 mins). Green fees can be paid for at the hotel reception.
Tennis : a 20% discount is granted on court hire at the Tennis Country Club Barrière (10 mins away on foot).
Horse riding : riding centre 200m from the beach.
Rides along the beach : 1 hr = 24€ (22€ for children). Rides beach-forest = 30€.
Sailing : sailing lessons and courses, Optimist, catamaran, hobbycat…: from 80€
Beach Club : for children, July/August – from 10€ per day.
Cycling : the bike ride “Vélocéan” takes you on a peaceful ride to discover the natural and heritage sites along the coast. This ride leaves from Villa Caroline.
