Visits to make in Aix-les-Bains
Aix-les-Bains is a beautiful city, reputed for its thermal spa waters, situated on the lakeside of Le Bourget, surrounded by mountains. The city is replete with exceptional attractions and museums (please consult our section entitled "Cultural Escapades") which will fill up your free time during your stay at the club hotel. Around the Lake of Le Bourget :
The Lake of Le Bourget, which is very close to the hotel, is one of the major attractions in Aix-les-Bains: it is the biggest natural lake in France, originating with the glaciers and its banks have retained their natural beauty and are unspoiled with very few buildings. In this way, you can :

• ramble around the shores of the lake in the heart of nature
• discover the marvels of a well preserved ecosystem with its fauna and flora
• or visit Hautecombe Abbey, a Cistercian abbey which later became Benedictine, a leading example of the Troubadour Gothic style which overlooks the lake.
