THE BASQUE COUNTRY  HENDAYE

ORHOITZA – HOTEL HENDAYE AND HOLIDAY LETS

THE HOTEL AT HENDAYE ON THE BASQUE COAST

On the border between France and Spain on the coast of the Basque Country, the seaside resort of Hendaye is perfectly positioned for exploring the Basque Country.  The hotel and residence are located in the perfect setting for discovering the region.

Hendaye is located in an exceptional setting between the Atlantic Ocean and the foothills of the Pyrenees. The magnificent property of Abbadia with its cliffs and chateau, the long beach of fine sand that so pleasantly borders the town and the curves of the Bidasoa flowing between France and Spain, all these make Hendaye a pleasant and environmentally friendly place.

The proximity of Spain adds another dimension of particular interest to people who like to make new cultural discoveries.  At local level the towns of Irun and Hondarribia are very close to Hendaye partly because of the Bidasoa river and partly because of the collaboration and numerous exchanges that take place within the framework of a Franco-Spanish agreement (Consorcio).
