Spa – one of the origins of this word might be the saying “sanitas per aqua” (health through water) which could often be found engraved on the walls in Roman baths. Our Spa, which is situated within a short distance from Geneva, Nyon and Rolle, is open to both hotel customers and to outside visitors wishing to spend a relaxing moment having a massage or treatment.
Far from the stresses of down-town Geneva, the Villa du Lac has a magnificent 500 m2 spa, an area of wellbeing and relaxation where light and water come together in an atmosphere of luxury and calm. Our team of professionals, all absolutely dedicated to providing a calming and relaxing environment, offer a variety of body and facial treatments tailored to your individual needs.
Wellbeing area, Swimming pool and Jacuzzi
With large bay windows overlooking the terrace, the gardens and Mont Blanc, the 32m2 heated leisure pool* incorporates an aquatic course, geyser with hydrotonics course equipped with massaging jets and a Jacuzzi right next to the pool. Peace, serenity and total contentment are the key words here.
Gymnasium
The gymnasium can be accessed directly from the Spa and is equipped with:
Treadmills: the natural movements reproduced on these machines provide an effective cardio-vascular workout.
Cross trainers: here you can practise elliptical pedalling movements (either oval or circular) while also exercising both upper and lower arms.
An exercise bike: this provides a moderate, less intense workout, specially adapted for beginners.
Aerobic workout equipment and weights.
Turkish Bath
After your workout, you can plunge into a Turkish Bath where you’ll be carried away by the eucalyptus scented steam while admiring the stars high above in the domed ceiling.
The Décléor Range of Treatments
On arrival at the Spa you will be offered a herbal tea. You will then find yourself in the scented, luxurious and gentle world of Decléor aromatherapy. Surrender yourself and be pampered by the hands of our professionals, all expert in the different Decléor techniques.
Aquagym
Sessions take place in the Spa swimming pool where the water temperature is 31° to 33°C. This moment of relaxation will give you a sensation of weightlessness.
This form of exercise is ideal for people who want to enjoy getting fit without pain in relaxing surroundings in the company of an expert entirely dedicated to your physical wellbeing.
Psycho-corporal Techniques
The language of the body can sometimes be hard to understand. It has ways of making you feel out of sorts: anxiety attacks, phobias, stress, low self-esteem and many other problems can have an effect on our organism. These techniques will help you to find solutions to these problems:
Relaxation therapy, Reiki, Ericksonian self-hypnosis are all techniques which can help relieve certain problems to do with energy both physiological and psychological.

Use of the Spa and Opening Times
Opening Hours: 9.00 am to 12.30 pm & 2.30 pm to 7.30 pm
Access to the pool is reserved exclusively for hotel residents (free of charge for guests staying at the hotel, a charge of 10€ a day or 50€ a month for those staying in the Residence).
Our external customers may, however, use our cubicles when undergoing a treatment.
The Spa swimming pool is open to hotel residents every day from 6.00 am to 10.00 pm.
Treatment Timetable
Treatments (for both hotel residents and our external customers) are available from Monday to Sunday by appointment.
We would advise you to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your appointment time.
There are male and female changing rooms with showers and lockers for personal effects. Bath towels and robes are available – these must be returned on leaving the Spa.
“Discovery” - 3 treatments : 113€
This package comprises: a “back strengthening” massage or a 20-minute seaweed wrap, a body scrub using aromatic salt for a perfectly smooth skin and a 25-minute session in the Spa-Jet – a truly multisensory treat.
“De-stress” – 5 treatments : 196€
This package allows you to find your serenity and calm your inner tensions: a 20-minute aromatic salt body scrub, a 1 hour 15-minute facial specially adapted to your individual skin type, a 20-minute mud wrap, a 20-minute back massage and a 25-minute session in the Spa-Jet.
“Luxury Battery Recharge” – 10 treatments : 325€
This package is the ideal way to bring down your stress levels, learn to relax and completely unwind.
It comprises: a 20-minute back remodelling session, foot and leg treatment and an aromatic salt body scrub, a 1-hour relaxing wrap, a complete 50-minute body massage from the tips of your toes to the top of your head, a facial specially adapted to your skin type, 2 seaweed or mud applications and lastly 2 x 25-minute sessions in the Spa-Jet.
“Delight” – 3 treatments : 136€
Long recognised for its exhilarating and anti-depressant qualities, cocoa is rich in anti-oxidants and vitamins. It has relaxing and hydrating properties while, at the same time, it calms the spirit.
This package comprises: a 20-minute sugar scrub, a 20-minute chocolate wrap and a 20-minute back strengthening massage using moisturising body butter.
“Scented Ritual Ile Rouge” – 2 treatments : 83€
A highly re-energising formula for a soft, smooth skin, revitalised using products from fair trade markets.
This package comprises: a 20-minute exfoliating scrub obtained using fruit powders (argan, apricot, orange), spices (ginger and pepper) and essential oils and 1 20-minute back modelling treatment using a special utensil made from acacia wood.
Décléor contributes 1€ to l’ONG ASMADA (Madagascar) from each package.
NEW FOR 2011 : “Slimming Stopover”
This package is very effective in treating problems of cellulite and water retention. The treatment is based on extracts of grapefruit, ginger, pepper and caffeine. 3 treatments: 1 20-minute sugar scrub, 1 20-minutes tonic modelling and 1 20-minute spice wrap- 125€
