  • What are the specific cancellation conditions for the Covid crisis ?

    Vacances Bleues offers free cancellation or postponement of any stay booked in a Vacances Bleues hotel, club or residence (excluding partners, cruises or stays abroad) in the event that the stay is impossible for health reasons linked to Covid-19, i.e:

    • Government measures restricting travel prevent you from going to your holiday destination
    • Lockdown of your region of origin or destination
    • Border closures between your home country and your destination country
    • A quarantine period for holidaymakers travelling to your destination area
    • You must observe a quarantine period required by a doctor on presentation of proof   
    • In this case, you will have the choice between obtaining a refund of all the sums paid (excluding administration costs and any donation to the PFP Association), or a credit note of 20% of the sums paid, valid for 18 months from its issue and refundable (excluding the credit note) at the end of this period if it has not been used.

    The conditions of the Covid Cancellation option, FREE with any subscription to the comprehensive insurance:

    • Before the stay: cancellation and refund for any illness related to Covid-19 declared in the month preceding the departure, or for non-acceptance in a planned collective transport following a temperature reading. 
    • During the trip: refund at actual cost in the event of return home due to a Covid-19-related illness during the trip.

    Our site is totally secure and equipped with the Paybox Verifone secure payment system. All payments on the site are made on an SSL encrypted page (https). We do not store any banking data.

  • I am still Covid positive despite the end of the legal isolation period. Can I still come in holidays at Vacances Bleues ?

    In order to ensure the safety of all, we cannot accept Covid positive people inour establishments.

  • How can I make a reservation ?

    You can make reservations :

    • on our website www.vacancesbleues.fr
    • by contacting our booking department on +33 4 91 00 96 48. Our advisors will answer you from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and will be able to guide you if the place or the dates you want are no longer available.

  • How do I know if my reservation is really confirmed ?

    The booking confirmation is sent automatically by e-mail, after payment of the deposit or the balance depending on the date you book. 
    If you have not received your confirmation, please check that it is not in your SPAM folder
    If you don't have an e-mail address, we can send you your confirmation by mail exceptionally (except for web bookings).

  • Which promotion(s) can I benefit from ?

    Vacances Bleues guarantees you the best possible price on its offers. All promotions you are entitled to are applied automatically when booking online or by phone. If you have received a specific promo code as part of our loyalty programme, you can enter it when booking online in the promo code field. If you are entitled to a partner discount through your CSE, pension fund or mutual insurance company, you can enter your code in the partner code field when booking.

  • Who can make a reservation?

    Only adults over the age of 18 can make a reservation. We will ask you to indicate your date of birth. All stays with Vacances Bleues must include at least one adult among the participants of the stay.

  • Which document(s) do I need to present on arrival at my place of stay ?

    You must present your confirmation of stay, which you received by email or post when you booked your holiday, at the reception desk of your holiday accommodation. If you have done an online pre-check before your arrival, you just have to go to the reception to get your key. You can access the online pre-check here.

  • I have a problem making my reservation online, who can help me ?

  • Can the price of my stay be changed ?

    Due to the economic climate and high inflation, Vacances Bleues reserves the right to revise its prices during the year. If you have already purchased your holiday, the price will not be modified.

  • Which payment methods do you accept ?

    We accept the following credit cards:
    Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express and CB.
    By booking via the reservation service at + 33 4 91 00 96 48 we also offer you the possibility to pay your stay :

    • By bank and postal cheque or money order (no card money order) made out to Vacances Bleues.
      (Any cheque or money order, even if accompanied by a letter, must include your contract/reservation number on the back).
    • By ANCV holiday cheque (We recommend secure delivery by registered mail or Chronopost only, payments by declared value mail are not accepted)
    • CADHOC cheques, CADO cheques or CADO card
    • Vacances Bleues gift vouchers
    • In cash only in our agency in Paris, up to the legal limit of 1000 €.

  • Is the payment on the website secure ?

  • When to pay for my stay ?

    A deposit will be requested at the time of booking. The balance must be paid at the latest 45 days before the start of your stay, failing which we may dispose of your room in accordance with our general terms and conditions of sale.
    For last minute bookings (less than 45 days before the departure date), the amount of your stay must be paid in full at the time of booking.
    For bookings with a non-cancellable, non-refundable rate, a full prepayment of the stay must be made at the time of booking confirmation.
    Bookings of less than 4 days are subject to specific payment and cancellation conditions which will be indicated on the option or booking confirmation.
    Are you going in a group? A first deposit will be requested at the signature of the contract, a second one 2 months after the signature of the contract and at the latest 120 days before the beginning of the stay. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the holiday.
    If you are organising a seminar: A deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance upon receipt of the invoice.

  • I have a credit note. How do I use it ?

  • How do I use my Vacances Bleues gift voucher ?

    You can use your gift voucher on the web at the payment stage of your stay. You just have to enter the code of the voucher and validate it. You can also specify it at the time of your reservation at +33 4 91 04 96 48

  • How can I get an invoice ?

    You can request an invoice at the time of your departure from the establishment in which you have stayed, at the reception.

  • Is it possible to recover VAT ?

    It is not possible to claim the recovery of VAT due to the special regime to which our company is subject, namely the Travel Agencies tax regime known as the profit margin.

  • Do you offer cancellation insurance ?

    A multi-risk insurance is offered to you at the time of your reservation for 4.5% of the total price of the stay (charged per person, excluding insurance premium, booking fees and tourist tax). It allows you to benefit from optimal coverage before, during and after your stay. These guarantees give you more peace of mind and comfort, so that you can travel with a light mind! Insurance
    The multi-risk insurance must be taken out when booking your holiday or within 14 days of the booking date (if the departure date is more than 30 days from the booking date)

  • What are your conditions for change or cancellation ?

    You can modify or cancel your stay by contacting an advisor by phone at +33 (0)4 91 00 96 48
    The modification (subject to availability) or cancellation of the stay are subject to a tariff readjustment and may entail cancellation fees. See the scale and conditions in our GCS. The request for modification must be made in writing so that Vacances Bleues can acknowledge receipt, either by e-mail to infovb@vacancesbleues.fr or by post to :

    Any request for cancellation of a transport ticket (air, SNCF and bus) purchased from Vacances Bleues to reach your place of stay in France, will be invoiced at 100% of the price including VAT as soon as the reservation is made.
    The cancellation of a stay in France or of a trip abroad entails the application of the following indemnities:
    Compensation for cancellation of a stay in France :

    • Accommodation (room only, or with breakfast and/or meals in addition) less than or equal to 4 nights: The conditions of modification or cancellation vary according to the establishment and the rate (flexible or non-refundable) chosen. Specific conditions will be indicated on the quote and booking confirmation.
    • Stays with full board, half board or accommodation per room of more than 4 nights: any cancellation by the holidaymaker before departure will result in the application of the following scale of charges applicable to the total amount of the stay (excluding any file and insurance charges which remain with Vacances Bleues).
    • More than 45 days before the start of the holiday: 30€ per file
    • Between 45 and 31 days before the beginning of the stay: 10% of the total amount of the stay 
    • Between 30 and 21 days before the beginning of the stay: 30% of the total amount of the stay
    • Between 20 and 8 days before the beginning of the stay: 50% of the total amount of the stay
    • Less than 8 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the total cost of the holiday
    • For stays with an additional package, the total amount of the package is retained in addition.

    Any request for cancellation of a transport ticket (air, SNCF and bus) purchased from Vacances Bleues to reach your place of stay in France, will be invoiced at 100% of the price inclusive of tax as soon as the reservation is made.

  • What are your refund terms and conditions ?

    Refunds will be made within 15 days by bank transfer, credit card re-credit or cheque. If you live abroad, the refund will be made by bank transfer only.

  • How can I use my CSE/CE code on the website ?

    If your Works' Council/CSE is a Vacances Bleues partner, you will receive a discount in the form of a code. This code is to be entered in capital letters at the time of booking in the "Partner Code" space provided for this purpose in the "Do you have a code?" section.
    You can also use this code when booking by phone.
