In partnership with Assurinco, Vacances Bleues advises you to take out multi-risk travel insurance when you make your reservation. For an amount of 4.5% of the total price of your stay, you are covered in the following cases
- Cancellation: reimbursement of cancellation fees* up to €6,000 per person**.
- Luggage: compensation in case of loss, theft or damage of your luggage (up to €1,500 per person)
- Repatriation assistance: assistance and coverage in the event of a medical problem at your place of stay (with no limit for medical repatriation)**.
- Assistance to your vehicle: reimbursement of towing costs (up to 200 €)** and loan of a vehicle (for 7 days)** if your car breaks down or is involved in an accident
Snow assistance: search, rescue and evacuation costs if you are the victim of a skiing accident (up to €7,650 per person)**

Your multi-risk travel insurance
In spite of all the care we take in creating your future trip, in spite of all the attention we pay to the places we propose, it happens that something goes wrong. A cancelled flight, lost luggage, medical expenses abroad, repatriation... We cannot foresee the unforeseeable, but we can insure you in order to compensate you in case of a glitch. When you make your reservation, you have the possibility to subscribe to a multi-risk travel insurance.
This way, you benefit from optimal coverage before, during and after your stay, in France or abroad. Even in the sun, travel covered!
Multi-risk travel insurance: reimbursement amounts
Vacances Bleues has succeeded in obtaining a very preferential rate with Assurinco: 4.50% of the total amount of the stay (invoiced per person, excluding insurance premium, file fees and tourist tax). In concrete terms, this is what it means:
- In case of cancellation: we reimburse cancellation fees* up to 6,000 euros per person.
- In case of loss, theft or damage of your luggage, the compensation is up to 1,500 euros per person.
- Repatriation assistance: we guarantee assistance and care in case of medical problems at your vacation destination. The comprehensive travel insurance has no ceiling in the case of medical repatriation**, your health comes first.
- Personal vehicle: if your vehicle breaks down or is involved in an accident, we will reimburse towing costs up to 200 euros**. We will also lend you a vehicle for 7 days**.
- Snow assistance: if you are the victim of a skiing accident, we cover the costs of search, rescue and evacuation up to
7,650 per person**.
Multi-risk travel insurance: the Covid cancellation option
- Before the stay
If the cancellation of your stay is caused by an illness declared in the month preceding your departure, or by an epidemic or pandemic, we will reimburse you**. Similarly, if you were not accepted on a scheduled and guaranteed collective transport due to a temperature test or a positive result to a PCR and/or antigenic test at the departure airport, we will reimburse you. The same applies if you are declared a "contact case" within 14 days prior to your departure.
- Multi-risk travel insurance during your stay
If you are sick during your vacation and have to return home, we will reimburse you at actual cost, including during an epidemic or pandemic. If you are forced to extend your stay due to quarantine, we will reimburse you for hotel expenses. The same applies if your return is impossible due to travel restrictions.
It's not a very happy subject, but there is some good news: the Covid cancellation option is offered in the multi-risk travel insurance until 30/11/2022.***
